Step 1 of 3

Find out where your firm loses work, in five days.

We have two video calls, then I write you a report. It shows where your work comes from and where it gets lost, and tells you whether a follow-up and proposal system would help, including when it wouldn't.

US$1,950

There's $975 off the Install if you book it within 90 days of your report.

Book a Diagnostic

You don't pay anything until we've talked and agreed it suits your firm.

What you'll know at the end

Worth having even if you never buy anything else.

A small black creature has stood one page up on a table beside a loose pile of papers. The page carries the sample report's three headline figures: 4 of 22 (enquiries with no reply), 6 days (working days from call to proposal) and 5 of 6 (proposals sent with no next step agreed).
How you win work now, in numbers

How long enquiries wait for a reply, how many days pass between a call and a proposal, how many proposals you send and win, and how long each one takes you. Every figure shows where it came from.

Which part to fix first

I score each step from enquiry to signed work on how much it loses and whether a system could handle it, with a person approving every message.

Whether the system would help

One of three answers: yes, yes with a condition, or no. If it's no, I tell you what would help instead.

What I'd set up first

How the five days run

It takes about four hours of your time: the two calls, and an hour pulling some lists together.

A small black creature holds a magnifying glass between your laptop, labelled the record, and a thought cloud, labelled what you remembered. Between them is written the gap.
  1. Day 1

    A 90-minute first call

You walk me through how your last few pieces of work came in and what happened to each one. I listen and ask questions, and I don't give advice yet. By the end of the day you send me a few short lists.

    What I'll ask you for

A small black creature walks along a table laying out your recent pieces of work as cards, while your hand points at the first one. Labels: how it came in, won (under a ticked card), went quiet (over cards with question marks).

Summaries are fine, and you don't need to name your clients. You create a folder in your own Google Drive or SharePoint and share it with me. That's the only access I have, and it ends when the report is delivered. You sign the data statement before you share anything.

    From your records

    • Your enquiries from the last three months: when each arrived, where from, and what happened.
    • Your last five to ten proposals: when the call was, when you sent it, and how it ended.
    • Any proposals that went quiet in the last 90 days.
    • Roughly how many hours your last five proposals took.
    • How many tenders you answered last year, if any.

    About how you work

    • A two-minute look at how you track your pipeline today.
    • Where your past proposals, case studies and rates are kept.
    • Which email, documents and pipeline tools you use, and whether you have a Claude plan.
    • Whether your sales emails or proposals contain people's health records, bank details or ID numbers.
  2. Days 2–3

I work through what you told me

I map how work moves through your firm, check what you told me against your lists and score each step.

  3. Day 4

    A 75-minute second call

On your screen, I take you through what I found and we look at your accounts together. Then I talk you through my draft answer, and you tell me what I've got wrong.

We also go through the proposals that went quiet in the last 90 days. For each one you choose to revive, you leave with a next step and a draft follow-up to finish and send yourself. I can't promise how any of them will end.

  4. Day 5

    Your report arrives

It comes by email, and I book a 20-minute call to go through it with you.

The three answers you might get

  1. Yes

    It fits

The report says what I'd set up first and the number I'd judge it on.

  2. Yes, with a condition

    It fits once something changes

You might need to buy Claude Team seats or free up some time in the diary first. The report lists each condition and who'd take care of it.

  3. No

    It doesn't fit

That's usually because the real problem is too few enquiries, or because the data is regulated. The report says so and tells you what would help instead. If the fit call already shows that, I won't sell you a Diagnostic; I'll point you to the free scorecard and templates.

Who it's for

A small team of about ten people, one holding a sign that says 8 to 30 people, with a small black creature beside them. Envelopes labelled referrals fly in; a sheet labelled proposals flies out.
  • You're a founder or managing partner of a consulting, advisory, research or training firm.
  • There are about 8 to 30 people in it.
  • Most of its work comes through referrals and written proposals.
  • Your typical engagement is worth $25,000 or more.
  • You, or the partner who leads new business, will join both calls.

Price

That's the whole cost of the Diagnostic. I take on two a month.

A small black creature hands banknotes back to your hand, which holds the report. Labels: your money back, you keep the report, within 7 days.

The whole Diagnostic

Five working days

US$1,950

I invoice after the free fit call, and you pay before the first session.

Prices exclude taxes

Included

  • Both calls
  • The report
  • The call to go through it

If something goes wrong

If the report gives you nothing you can act on, tell me at the walk-through or within seven days and I'll refund the $1,950. You keep the report, whatever it concludes.

Then $975 off the Install if you book it within 90 days of your report.

Questions about the Diagnostic

Is the first call free?

Yes. It's 20 minutes to see whether a Diagnostic suits your firm. If it doesn't, I'll say so and you won't pay anything.

Can a partner or colleague join?

Yes, and it helps if whoever handles your enquiries joins the first call.

Our emails are full of sensitive client matters. Is that a problem?

Not by itself. You choose which inbox and folders the system may read, and you can keep anything out. What I won't take on is people's health records, bank details or ID numbers in your sales emails. If those turn up often, I'll say so on the first call. And if your client contracts limit who may process their information, check them before the Install. The Diagnostic lists it as a question.

We're in the UK, Europe or North America. Does that matter?

No. I work by video, in English, and my prices are in US dollars. I split my time between Windhoek and Bangkok. We book sessions inside your working day and agree the times together. Claude stores business data in the United States, and some firms' clients don't allow that, so I check this with you before you pay.

What happens to our material afterwards?

It stays in the folder you created, which you own. I work from summaries with names and contact details taken out, and I don't copy your material into any account of mine. My access ends when the report is delivered, and I keep only the report and the invoice.

Do your prices include VAT?

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. If your firm is in the UK or the EU, your firm accounts for any VAT under the reverse charge, so I don't add it to the invoice.

Do we have to go on to the Install?

No. The report is yours, and you can act on it with me or without me.

Book your Diagnostic

If the report gives you nothing you can act on, I'll refund the $1,950.

Here's what happens next:

  1. You send a short request, which takes two minutes.
  2. I reply within one working day and suggest a 20-minute call to see whether it suits your firm.
  3. If it does, you get the engagement letter (a short contract), the data statement and the invoice. You read them all before you pay, and then we fix the dates for your five days.
Book a Diagnostic

You'll work with me directly, and nobody else reads your material.
